  Very overrated. I’ve initially booked for 7 people for a bachelorette celebration. When i called back to add 2 extra people, i was told on the phone that for groups of more than 8 people, the bill would have to be a minimum $100 per person. When i called back about an hour later, i was told that the charge would only be for groups of 10 people or more. (We were 9) When we finally arrived, it was just disappointment from there. The place was beautiful, dont get me wrong. However, the lack of service and the portions of the food was just disappointing. We were able to order our cocktails, after that our server never came back. I understand it is busy especially for a weekend, but we didn’t get our order taken until after 1 hour and a half after our reservation. And another 45 minutes for an extremely small portion of tuna tartare and an assorted plate of charcuterie that had 2 tiny pieces of cheese. We were starving. I have no qualms with the quality of the food and drinks, but the service? The portion? And most importantly the price?The place is extremely overrated, assuming because of its location at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth hotel. Our group had left the restaurant hungry and disappointed having wasted time and money at such an overrated place.

  Updating my review as we recently went to the new terrace they now have - still 5 Star service. Absolutely stunning place. The food is outstanding and the drinks are beautiful and delicious… The service is friendly and prompt (as it always has been even in their main floor location). This is definitely a staple bar that we enjoy going to while in Montreal. Super convenient to have it in the hotel we stay at. Will definitely continue going back and will absolutely recommend to others. The two other people we were with absolutely raved about it as well and were very happy. It’s a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and the quality is there. The mixed olives are a must try! Previous review from 2019: Very classy bar! My husband and I have been here a few times while staying in the hotel, and the bar itself is very nice. They have many original, unique drinks along with wine and regular items. We were there on a Thursday around 6:00 PM and although it was very loud and busy, it was still enjoyable. My husband enjoyed the Negroni while I had a glass of red wine. We will definitely be back!

Beautifully presented, complete with monogrammed Queen-E super-clear ice cube. Very oaky on the nose. Wonderfully smooth and deep flavour - floral vermouth notes and a hint of the campari's bitterness linger on a long finish that ends with woodsy astringency. All in all, well balanced, but over-oaked to my taste. And, not surprisingly, wayyyy over priced at 28$.
